Richard “Dick” Oscar LeMoine, 81, of Hoyt Lakes passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Born and raised in Cook, MN. Parents Elsie (Lindbeck) and Oscar LeMoine had 10 children. Richard worked at Boise Cascade paper mill for 15 years. After meeting wife Colleen, of 46 years, they moved to Hoyt Lakes where Richard was a supervisor at LTV Steel, retiring after 27 years. He worked very hard and always “alongside” his fellow workers. He was a proud serviceman of the U.S. Air Force from 1955-1961. He served on the special weapons team and had tours in France and Germany. His loving heart and Christian spirit demonstrated his genuine love for everyone. His family was his world. No one could be a prouder father. His unending embrace was known to everyone by his irreplaceable hugs and infectious smile. He was preceded in death by his daughters Aylette and Deidre; parents Elsie and Oscar; siblings Jim, Clifford, Shirley, Gloria and Rodney. He is survived by his wife Colleen. Children Dionne (Paul) Peterson of Alexandria, MN; Cory of Kansas City, MO; Chyrisse (Kyle) of New Richmond, WI; Tyson (Tami) of Maple Grove, MN and Kai of Moose Lake, MN. Grandchildren Mari, Taylor, Spencer, Sophia and Casey. Siblings Erlene, Zona, Karen and Sandy. As well as numerous loved family members and friends. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora and continued for one hour prior to the 12 p.m. funeral mass at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Burial with military honors accorded by the Aurora Hoyt Lakes Color Guard will follow at the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery.
