Funeral Mass for Kay Marie (King) Kraft, 54, of Hoyt Lakes will be 10 am Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora with Fr. Dennis Hoffman celebrating. A visitation will be held 5-7 pm Tuesday at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora and will continue one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery. Kay died Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth. Kay grew up in Hoyt Lakes and graduated from the Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School, Class of 1979. Following school, she moved to Minneapolis where she resided for thirty-three years. Kay had worked as a grocery clerk, bank employee, and office manager. In 2011, Kay graduated from the Everest Institute for Medical Billing and Coding. Kay enjoyed playing BINGO and networking on her computer. She especially took pleasure in spending time with her two grandsons. Kay will be remembered as a fun loving, kind hearted, selfless person who dearly loved her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter: Kari (Julian Lazo) Kraft; son: Bryan Kraft and two grandsons: Braydon and Rigoberto all of Minneapolis; her mother: Nancy King of Hoyt Lakes; three brothers: David King of Hoyt Lakes, Richard (Lorraine) King of Ekwok, AK, Donald King of Eveleth; two nieces, two nephews, and two great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold (2007); a niece Clarissa (2012); and her beloved dog, Roxie (2013).
