Funeral Mass for Jean Audrey Hippolt, 69, of Aurora, will be 10am Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora with Fr. Steven Daigle as celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday with recitation of the rosary at 6:30pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the mass at church. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Jean died Friday, July 1, 2016 at St. Michael’s Health and Rehab in Virginia, Minnesota. She was born September 23, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Audrey (Mitchell) Peden. Jean attended All Saints and St. Rita’s Catholic Schools in Chicago. She worked as a waitress and later at Central Scientific while in Chicago. On February 22, 1964 she married Louis Hippolt at All Saints Catholic Church in Chicago. IN 1972 the couple moved to Palo. Jean worked most of her life as a bookkeeper for the family business and also owned and operated the Tasty Freeze for several years. Jean was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora and the Hoyt Lakes Bowling League. Survivors include her husband, Louis; children: Louis J. (Kim Drain) Hippolt, Michael F. (Amber) Hippolt and Genevieve M. (Paul) Koski; grandchildren: Cody Hippolt, Kayla Hippolt, Dustin Hippolt and Russell Koski; siblings: Richard (Susan) Peden and Donald (Cindy) Peden; sisters-in law: Clorinda “Corky” Peden, and Claudia Peden; several nieces and nephews. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patricia and brothers: Charles “Mickey”, Timothy and James.
