Theresa Pucko

Funeral Mass for Theresa Pucko, 87, formerly of Gilbert, will be at 10am Thursday, October 27, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gilbert. Fr. Eamonn Boland will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at St. Joseph's. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Theresa died Friday, October 21, 2016 at Sunrise Senior Living in Roseville, MN. Theresa was born October 3, 1929 in Libna, Slovenia to Maks and Maria (Omerzu) Zorko. She was the youngest of seven children. She immigrated to America with her sister, Matilda in 1957. She married Andrej Pucko on May 3, 1958 at Holy Rosary Church in Aurora, MN. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and its Council of Catholic Women and the KSKJ Lodge. She was survived by her sons: Steven (Deanne) of Circle Pines and Andrew of Brainerd; grandchildren: Steven, Stacey, and Scott of the Twin Cities; sisters: Matilda (Martin) Simcic of Milwaukee, and Angela (Drago) Urtelj of Slovenia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrej; and her four siblings: Maks Jr. (Anika), Ivanka Polic, Franc (Mimica), and Albin (Gitzela).
