Hannah died in the arms of her family on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at her home. Hannah was born on August 7, 2009 to Thomas and Danyel (Warwas) Filipovich in Duluth. She grew up in a loving country home just outside of Eveleth. Hannah enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and singing or listening to spiritual hymns. Hannah especially loved to hug. She would hug everyone she met and her mom says “If hugs were caloric intake she’s be as big as a house”. Hannah took great pleasure in helping others even if she was herself suffering. She touched so many lives in her short time as she freely shared her Christ-like love. The love of the Lord shined through her with her joy and acceptance for anyone who had the opportunity to meet her. Her care and concern for others far exceeded her own needs. Hannah was a faithful prayer warrior; praying immediately for anyone who she thought needed God’s help and was known to praise the Lord in her everyday activities. Survivors include her loving parents: Thomas and Danyel Filipovich; ten siblings: Marshal, Joshua, Merry, Emily, Dannie, Patrick, Jedidiah, Elsa, Jethro, and Gloria all of Eveleth; her maternal grandmother: Merry (Robert) Carlson of Iron; three uncles: Calvin (Maria) Warwas of Eveleth, Mykl (Natasha) Warwas of Palo, and Kenneth (Rose) Warwas of Bessemer, MI; honorary uncle: Shawn Washburn; as well as cousins, relatives and enumerable friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Joyce Filipovich and her maternal grandfather, Daniel Warwas.
