Memorial service for David Francis Milos, 75, of Gilbert, will be 11am Friday, April 21, 2017 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert with Fr. Frank Perkovich officiating. Friends may gather Thursday from 5-7pm at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service on Friday. Inurnment with military honors accorded by the Gilbert Veterans of Foreign Wars Post will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Dave died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home surrounded by family. He was born April 10, 1942 in Biwabik, MN to Francis and Marion (Ruotsi) Milos. Following his schooling, he enlisted with the US Marines and served from 1960-1964. During that time he served in the Vietnam Conflict. On September 13, 1969 he married Linda Curnow. Dave worked as an electrician for LTV Steel until its closure in 2001. David’s family was of utmost importance to him and he is survived by his wife, Linda; sons: Jeffrey (Beth) Milos of Gilbert and Bradley (Jessica) Milos of Ramsey; grandchildren: Jason, Nick, John, Benjamin and Aubrey; siblings: Patricia Brula, Terry Milos, Gary Milos and Brian Milos; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy.
