Bonnie D. Prigge

Funeral service for Bonnie Darlene Prigge, 79, of rural Gilbert, will be 2:00pm Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Palo with Pastor Eric Thiele officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Rauha Cemetery in Palo. Bonnie died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Essentia Health – St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN. She was born March 22, 1938 in Oklee, MN to Harold and Bessie Mae (Rodman) Haugen. Bonnie was a graduate of Thief River Falls High School and later married Charles Prigge in June of 1957 in Oklee. The couple moved to the Iron Range that same year where Bonnie enjoyed tending to her home and raising her family. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include her children: Alan (Carol) Prigge of Biwabik, Kimberlie (David) Grippe of Biwabik and Michelle (Michael) Zadra of Virginia; grandchildren: Samantha, William, Tara and Maelie; great grandchildren: Noelle, Ray and Clover; siblings: Marlyn (Delores) Haugen of Oklee and Clara Iverson of Thief River Falls; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Bessie; husband, Charles; siblings: Violet, Marcella and Harvey.
