Mass of Christian Burial for Brooklyn Rose Kundinger, 3, of Virginia will be 10 am Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Gilbert with Father Michael Garry celebrating. A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert and will continue one hour prior to mass at the church. Brooklyn and Ava will be interred in the Gilbert Cemetery. Brooklyn died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Fairview University Medical Center-Mesabi. She was born along with her identical twin, Ava Jordan, on January 1, 2014 to Justin Kundinger and Shandelle Bruun in Minneapolis. Brooklyn was currently attending Preschool at Parkview Elementary in Virginia where she loved her teachers and classmates. Brooklyn loved music, especially playing the drums and piano at MaPa’s house. She also enjoyed reading, dancing, eating pancakes in the morning with cousin Dominick, and swinging with grandpa. Brooklyn wished to be a doctor and a ballerina when she grew up. Brooklyn took the greatest pleasure in being a big sister to Molly. Survivors include her parents: Justin and Shandelle of Virginia; two sisters: Molly and Payson; maternal grandparents: Julie and Keith Bruun of Gilbert; paternal grandparents: Stephen and Debra Kundinger of Medford, WI; two great-grandmothers: Marietta Bol of Gilbert and Lois Kundinger of Park Falls, WI; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Ava Jordan; an uncle, Tim Kundinger; grandmother, Tammy Gruber; great-grandparents: Marilyn Bruun, Oscar Bruun, Paul Babbini, Gerald Bol, and Eugene Kundinger.
