Funeral service for Eathel Maxine Grady, 88 of Hoyt Lakes will be 11am Wednesday, February 3, at St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Virginia with Rev. Roger Weaver officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral home in Gilbert. Eathel died Saturday, January 30 at Heritage Manor Health Care Center in Chisholm. She was born January 6, 1922 in Hibbing to Paul and Estella (Graham) Hansen. She attended Hibbing High School and later attended Hibbing Jr. College. Eathel married Eugene Grady on April 29, 1944. She lived in Hibbing and in Hoyt Lakes. Eathel also lived at Clayridge Assisted Living in Biwabik for the past four years until moving to Heritage Manor in Chisholm for the past ten days. Eathel was one of the original "Mudders" in Hoyt Lakes. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Hoyt Lakes, the Senior Citizens in Hoyt Lakes, the Eastern Star in Biwabik and the Moose Club in Aurora. Eathel was also a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Virginia and was a past member and Sr. Warden of St. Stephen Episcopal Church in Hoyt Lakes. Survivors include her son, Patrick Grady of Columbia Hgts, Mn; daughter, Sharon (Gerald) Ide of Chisholm; grandchildren, Angela Hegstrom, Teresa (Jon) Lanyk, Brian (Kate) Recore, Kevin (Monica) Ide, Scott (Kristi) Ide, Michelle (Richard) Wayman and Michael Grady; great grandchildren, Tiffany, Emma, Abby, Jordan and Lucas Ide, Justin and Emily Berg, Nicole and Evan Hegstrom, Kayla and Alison Wayman, and Jake Recore; several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Estella Hansen; husband, Eugene Grady (1979); sister, Elfa Hansen; brother, Paul Hansen; and daughter Kathleen Recore.
