Aurora Turk

Funeral mass for Aurora Flora Turk, 98 of Aurora will be 10:30 am Friday, February 26 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora with Fr. Frank F. Perkovich celebrating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Aurora died Monday, February 22, at the Skilled Nursing Facility of the White Community Hospital in Aurora. Aurora was born April 16, 1911 to James and Ida (Travine) Talbott in Iroquois, SD. In 1926 she moved to Aurora. She married John "Chuckie" Turk on December 31, 1938. Survivors include her three sons, Anthony of Virginia, Joseph (Mary Lou) of North Branch, and Don "Skip" (Peggy) of Hoyt Lakes; four grandchildren, Sharon (Michael) Elsberry, Scott (Maire) Turk, Brad Turk, and Bryan (Rachael) Turk; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Chuckie" Turk (1984).
