Goldie E. Miller

Funeral service for Goldie Elizabeth Miller, 88, formerly of Hoyt Lakes, will be 11am Monday May 10, 2010 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Aurora with Rev. Amy Eisenmann officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Mrs. Miller died Wed. May 5, 2010 in Cornerstone Villa in Buhl. She was born March 3, 1922 in Bagley, MN and later married Albert K. Miller on August 3, 1939. They lived in South Carolina, Hawaii and Japan during her husband's military career. In the early 1960's they returned to Minnesota where they resided at Bay Lake. In 1998 Goldie moved to Hoyt Lakes to be closer to her family. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood and was a homemaker and avid flower gardener. Survivors include her children: Albert (Dolores) Miller of Chisholm and Susan (Greg) Miller-Faris of Plymouth; daughter-in-law: Rosemary Miller of Aurora; grandchildren: LeAnna, Sherry, John, Wendy, Ricky, Brian and Scott; 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Albert K.; son: James; brother: Devere
