Funeral service for June Kathryn Leete, 90, of Markham, will be 1pm Thursday June 10, 2010 in Palo Congregational Church with Rev. Randy Melhus officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Markham Cemetery in Colvin Township. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Mrs. Leete died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Edgewood Vista in Virginia. She was born Jan. 31, 1920 in Bertha, MN to Henry and Blanche (Richards) Bauer. June was a graduate of Bertha High School and in 1937 married Neale C. Leete in Wadena. In 1954 they moved to Markham and June worked as a seamstress for Cluett Peabody Shirt Factory in Eveleth. She was also a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and gardening. June and her husband also enjoyed wintering in Arizona for 10 years. Survivors include her childeren: Beverly Isaacson of Kieler, WI, Sharon Poupard of Minneapolis, Susan (Martin Berens) Pfeifer of Park Rapids, Mary (Jon) Frankovich of Chisholm, Craig Leete of Markham, Lani (Robert) Boyer of Markham, John (Diane) Leete of Aurora and Kay (Joseph) DeBaere of Hibbing; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Neale; son: Charles; great grandson: Christopher
