Ernest Ambrosh

Funeral service for Ernest Ambrosh, 80, of Gilbert, will be at 1:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2010 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gilbert with Fr. Charles P. Flynn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial with Military Honors by VFW Post 4456 will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Ernest passed away Thursday October 7, 2010 at his home in Gilbert. Ernest was born March 29, 1930 in Gilbert to Frank and Rosalie (Strah) Ambrosh. Ernest graduated from the Gilbert High School. He enlisted in the United States Army on November 7, 1951 where he served until his Honorable Discharge on August 6, 1953. Ernest enjoyed curling, hunting, gardening, reading and in later years cooking. His lifelong career was in mining. Ernest is survived by his sister Terry Ambrosh of Gilbert; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Ernest is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Rosalie Ambrosh; sisters Christine Ambrosh, Mary Stolar, Agnes Tolle; brothers Frank Ambrosh and Fred Ambrosh. Arrangements are with the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert.
