Bruce Starken

A gathering of family and friends for Bruce Anthony Starken, 69, of Aurora, will be Thursday, April 4, 2019, 2 pm to 6 pm, at the Hoyt Lakes Community Center, 101 Kennedy Memorial Drive.

Bruce passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his residence.

Bruce was born May 13, 1949 in red Lake County, Minnesota to Anthony and Elsie Starken. On November 4, 1978 he married Barbara Bartol, in Gilbert.  Bruce worked as an over-the-road truck driver.  His favorite past time was boating with family and friends on Lake Vermilion, relaxing in his Man Cave and listening to music at a high volume.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; children: James (Shandi), Heidi (Lyle), Dana (AJ), Tony (Bre), Nicole (Jeff) and Kaylee (Dylan); many grandchildren and brothers, Gary and Todd.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tony Starken & Elsie Wolner.
