Cecilia Henry

Funeral service for Cecilia C. Henry, 86, of Hoyt Lakes, will be 11am Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church in Hoyt Lakes with Pastor Barbara Hegfors officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will take place in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faith Lutheran Church.  Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Cecilia died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Essentia Health – Northern Pines in Aurora, Minnesota. She was born September 27, 1932 in Doty, Michigan to Carl and Edith (Horngren) Zeno.  Cecilia was raised in Chatham, Michigan and following her graduation she moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan.  There, she worked for Western Union and met Gene Henry who also worked there.  The couple transferred to Racine, Wisconsin and married on June 26, 1954. They moved to Hoyt Lakes in 1957 where Cecilia was a homemaker and spent time raising her children.  She then worked for Cluett Peabody Shirt Factory in Gilbert and also at the Green Needle in Hoyt Lakes.  For several years she worked as a Tupperware and Avon sales representative. Cecilia was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Hoyt Lakes VFW Auxiliary.  She was a former league bowler and enjoyed playing bridge, cribbage, golfing and knitting. Survivors include her children: Sharon (Chuck) Williams of Aurora,  Scott (Lory Keranen) Henry of Aurora,  Mark Henry of Hoyt Lakes and Julie (Ron) Pospeck of Hoyt Lakes; grandchildren: Lindsay (Hans) Nyberg,  Mitch (Aimee Kneip) Williams,  Jason (Natalie) Carpenter,  Eric (Tessa) Carpenter,  Amanda (Matt) Rollins,  Mike (Leah) Henry,  Jennifer (James) McNeill,  Jessica (Ron) Carl and Bradley Pospeck;  great grandchildren: Owen,  Caleb,  Logan,  Gunner,  Elliot,  Peyton, Isaiah and McKinley; siblings: Ernie Zeno and Marie Zeno; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Edith; husband, Gene; great granddaughter, Elizabeth; daughters-in-law: Rhonda and Lois; sister-in-law, Irene.
