Cynthia J. Zidarich

Cynthia Joanne (Strle) Zidarich, 51, of Mt. Iron died Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth with her children by her side.

She was born on January 4, 1973 to Robert and Shirlee (Zganjar) Strle in Virginia. Cindy grew up and graduated from the Virginia High School, Class of 1990. She later furthered her education at Mesabi Community College studying human services in 2001. In 2015, she expanded her education in Cosmetology in Hibbing. Cindy had worked as a telemarketer for New Partners in Eveleth, the Merritt House in Virginia and most recently as a home health aide at New Journey Residence in Biwabik. Cindy was an animal lover, especially captivated by cows. She enjoyed taking her dog, Lucy for walks, tanning at the beach, and using and collecting all types of hair and makeup accessories. Her children remember her as a loving Mom to all of them and say she was the best Mom any of them could ask for.

Survivors include her children: Christopher (Nicole Snyder) Strle, Danielle Strle, Matthew Hawkinson and Brylee Dauphinais; granddaughter, Ezaray Hawkinson; mother, Shirlee (Mike) Sailer; brother, Robert John Strle; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert John Strle; paternal grandparents: Lillian and John Strle; and maternal grandparents: Betty and Joe Zganjar.

A private family service was held. Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home of Gilbert.
