Dennis Ray Pershern

Age 74, passed away after complications from surgery. 

 He is survived by wife Lezlie of 55 years; daughter Micky (John), Shari (Brian) his beloved grandkids: Alayna (Austin), Jack, Ethan, and Will, and great grandson, Jaxon. 

Denny loved his family more than anything. There was no greater joy than being around all of them. But the number one in his life was his wife Lezlie. They met as kids, 15 and 17 at a party and the rest is history. They married in 1969 and quickly started their family. Denny was a mechanic by trade and spent many years after that as a salesman, and ultimately retire from the MN Department of Natural Resources, which makes sense since he loved the woods! 

 He loved spending time at the shack. Loved drag racing and watching Gold Rush. 

He was loyal and always had a smile and a helping hand for whoever needed it. He had a sarcastic sense of humor and a silly side his family loved and will miss greatly. Life will not be the same without him. 

 Memorial service will be 11am Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Friends may gather one hour prior. Immediately following, a celebration of life will take place at the Gilbert Community Center.
