Harold Leroy Myers Jr.

Memorial service for Harold Leroy Myers, Jr. 66, of Hoyt Lakes will be 11 am Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Aurora with Pastor John Jacquart officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery.  Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Harold died Thursday, November 2, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born on July 2, 1957 to Harold Sr. and Shirley Myers in Cedar Rapids, IA.  Following his schooling he worked several jobs in his life including custodian at nursing homes and as a laborer at a Grain Elevator Company.  He was united in marriage to Lois Rupert on June 27, 1998.  Harold enjoyed fishing, camping, remodeling houses, and fixing and reselling vehicles.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Aurora.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Lois; son, Frank (Ashton) Myers of Eveleth; daughter, Rita Gulling of Altamont, MO; his mother, Shirley Myers; stepchildren: Russel (Tiffany) and Tanya Mosteller; as well as numerous grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Sr. and several siblings.
