Isela Lilliana Marie Reyes

Isela Lilliana Marie Reyes, aged 5, of Hoyt Lakes, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was born on a beautiful Mother's Day, May 10, 2018, to her loving mother, Evian Redd. Isela was currently attending preschool at Mesabi East. She affectionately referred to herself as "Isela Grandma Baby Reyes." 

 

 Isela adored dressing up like a princess, and appropriately, her favorite stuffed animal was a dragon. Her favorite treats included Reese's Pieces Miniatures and tacos. Her passions included gymnastics, singing, painting, slime, and coloring. During the summer, she relished riding her scooter, swimming, biking, and jumping on her "Jumpaline." Isela had a wanderlust spirit and cherished traveling, especially to Florida, to visit her cousins and her Titi Chy. Her favorite colors were pink and purple, and she loved turtles and butterflies. Isela was a wonderfully loving and helpful big sister.  

 

Survivors include her devoted mother, Evian; her loving father, Silky Crosby; and a big, blended family that adored her: five sisters - Evian Jr., Sesi, Nova, Daya, and Zen; three brothers - Jayden, Jaylen, and Brayden; her cherished grandmother, Lillian Reyes; her Papa, James; and her Titi Chy. Isela also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

 

She was greeted in heaven by two cherished cousins, Avion and Baby Hector, as well as her beloved Tio Luis. 

 

We invite you to join us in celebrating Isela's bright life from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request memorials to honor Isela's memory.
