Lorraine DeMarte

Lorraine V. DeMarte of Virginia, MN passed away on December 14, 2018 and is now in the presence of her beloved Savior. She was born June 15, 1922 in Cary, WI to Victor and Adga Carlson. She trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and was born again in 1976. Lorraine was married to Charles DeMarte on December 10, 1941 in Ontonagon, MI. They were married for 68 years and lived in Duluth for most of their married lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, and son Gary. Lorraine is survived by her son Brian (Diane) DeMarte, daughter-in-law Julie DeMarte, four grandchildren: Stephanie (Andrew) Winter, Phillip (Helaine) DeMarte, Jessie (Steven) Phillips, and Sara (David) Meller, fourteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Grace and Truth Bible Church, 601 12th St N, Virginia, MN at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 20th. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
