Mark Meehan

Mark Kevin Meehan, 66, of Gilbert passed away on October 30, 2023 at The Waterview Woods in Eveleth.

Mark was born on October 11, 1957 to John and Edith (Homola) Meehan in Laramie, WY.  He graduated from Gilbert High School, Class of 1975.  Mark enlisted in the AirForce right out of high school and then attended Alvin Community College in Texas.  He married Karen Williams in 1985.  Mark worked as a CAD Draftsman for a few different companies in his career and also contracted out his work remotely.  Mark was an artist.  His passions were acrylic and digital painting and composing music. 

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Anna Meehan of Eveleth; Nieces: Brooke (Kyle) Ross of Hoyt Lakes, Michele Meehan of Eveleth and Samantha (Jaron) Maki of West Eveleth; aunt, Sue Meehan; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Larry, Michael and Darin; and his parents.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Gilbert VFW.  Inurnment will be in the Gilbert Cemetery at a later date.
