Mary E. Henry

A gathering of family and friends of Mary E. Henry, 58, of Hoyt Lakes, will be Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Private family burial will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery.

Mary died Sunday, July 14, 2024 surrounded by family at Mayo Clinic– St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

 She was born February 8, 1966 to Donald and Marge Howes in Aurora, Minnesota. She was a 1984 graduate of Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School. Mary was employed at Finger Hut prior to working for LTV Mining Company with data entry. Most recently she worked as a Claims Examiner for Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

 In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing golf, softball and bowling. More recently she enjoyed reading, gardening, watching the Vikings and golf, traveling and riding the Harley. Mary loved life and people – especially her grandson, Gunner and her “grand puppies”.

 Survivors include her Life Partner, Donald Huntley; daughter, Amanda (Matt) Rollins; grandson, Gunner Rollins; mother, Marge Howes; siblings: Scott (Cathy) Howes, Dawn (Mike) Kennedy, Shelly (Joe) Dahmen and Beth (Jeff) Chapman; Donald’s family: Carl (Gail) Huntley and Steven Huntley; numerous nieces and nephews.

 She is preceded in death by her father, Donald; brother, Shawn Howes and her grandparents.
