Marylou Elizabeth Pirnat, 75, of Aurora died Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at her home.
Marylou was born on November 17, 1948 to Matt and Julie (Halberg) in Biwabik. Marylou worked at several companies over the course of her career including Bauer Welding, Walgreens, and Arrowhead Transit as a volunteer driver. She had a superb work ethic. Marylou excelled at every job she held; and consequently, was awarded for the outstanding customer service she provided by all of her former employers. Marylou is remembered for having an incredible “green thumb”. Her gardens were lovely, both inside and out. Most importantly, Marylou loved her grandson, Hunter, immensely. He was the apple of her eye.
Survivors include her daughter; a granddaughter; grandson, Hunter Hebert; a great-grandchild; brothers: Tom (Nancy) and Clifford (Sharon) Pirnat; and sister-in-law and friend, Diane Krueger-Pirnat.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Hebert; two brothers: Russell and Richard Pirnat; and her parents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
