Molly Alyse Thiel

A celebration for the life of Molly Alyse Thiel, 22, of Gilbert, will be held Monday, December 2, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Graveside service will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in the Gilbert Cemetery.

Molly died Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in Leonidas, Minnesota.

Molly currently was employed as a leasing specialist for Thies and Talle in the housing industry.  She also worked at Iron Range Tykes providing daycare on Wednesday's where she absolutely loved "her kids."

In her spare time, Molly enjoyed knitting, playing golf and music.  She especially enjoyed listening to Dolly Pardon and Patsy Cline and often times you would find her listening to her record collection.  Molly will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Jennifer Thiel of Gilbert; siblings: Jeff “Hunior”, Brayden and Brianna; niece and nephew, Amiyah and Ryker and her grandparents, Jean and Doug Black and Jeff (Karole) Eilola; aunts and uncles: Nicole Eilola, Christina (Ryan) Teppo, Jamie (Dave) Graham, Traci (Ryan) Knutson and Randy Thiel; and the love of her life, Aaron Koivunen.

Molly is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Shirley Thiel and a sister, Megan Pavlin in infancy.
