Robert Bantz Jr

Robert Erwin Bantz, Jr., 54, of Gilbert passed away as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in McKinley on September 5, 2018. Bob was born on July 20, 1964, the third child of Robert E. Bantz, Sr. He lived in Gilbert until he graduated high school. Then he moved to Montana to live and work for several years. Bob had many talents. He did beautiful scroll work, was good at fi xing appliances and vehicles, and could cook and bake like nobody’s business. Bob was a problem solver, and sometimes a problem maker. He was a good friend, always there to lend a helping hand, give some advice, or tell a joke to make you laugh. He also loved to hunt and fi sh, and would regale you with his sometimes very tall tales of his adventures. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Denise, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He presence on this earth will be sorely missed. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved son, John; his wonderful father, Robert, Sr.; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends. ❏ Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no celebration of life or memorial service. “If they don’t have time for me while I’m alive, they don’t need to cry crocodile tears over my urn.
