Rosemary Nelson age 81, passed away at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth MN on June 24^th 2022

Rose was born on July 22^nd 1940 to Edward Poirier and Genevieve (Peltier) Poirier in Proctor MN. She loved to paint, crochet, do puzzles listening to music, watch country westerns, and travel with her sister Florence to visit with friends and family.

Thank you to the staff at New Journey in Biwabik for the wonderful care she received over the last several years.

Rose is survived by her children April (Nick) Grivette of Hoyt Lakes, MN. Andrew Nelson of Mt. Iron, MN, Grandchildren - Alina and Melia Grivette, Courtney Andrick, Micheal Fox, Bentley Spanyard, Atlas Nelson, Sister- Florence Konczak of South Range, WI, and Many Niece’s and Nephew’s.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Genevieve Poirier, brother’s Floyd and Lawerance Poirier, sister Josephine (Poirier) White, and brother in law Ronald Konczak.
