Sharon A Myrum

Funeral service for Sharon Ann Myrum, 57, of rural Gilbert, will be 10:30am Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Palo with Pastor Eric Thiele officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert.  Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.  Burial will be in Rauha Cemetery in Palo.

Sharon died suddenly on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in Gilbert.

She was born June 3, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Tommy and Dolly (Hart) Pillow. Sharon graduated from New Carney High School in Texas and later worked for Continental Airlines.

She married Rory Myrum on March 21, 1996 in Porter, Texas. Sharon transferred to Northwest Airlines in Chisholm and worked as a reservation specialist.

She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Palo. Her two greatest passions in life were having family barbeque’s and being a soccer and basketball grandma to her grandson, Colton.

Survivors include her husband, Rory; son, Brandon Myrum of Palo; grandson, Colton; mother, Dolly Pillow of Gilbert; brother, Michael (Cindy) Pillow of Spring, TX; two nephews: Marcus and Larry Pillow.

She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy.
