Thomas "Tom" Grippe

Thomas “Tom” Lee Grippe, 68, of Biwabik died Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at The Waterview Woods in Eveleth.  Per Thomas’ request no services will be held at this time.  Inurnment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik at a later date.  Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert.

Tom was born on March 26, 1953 to Leo and Margaret (Hawley) Grippe in Eveleth.   He served his country in the US Army from 1972-1975.  Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, helping others and trips to Fortune Bay. 

Survivors include his stepmother, Shirley Grippe of Biwabik; siblings: Dennis (Kathy) Grippe and Eddie (Bonnie Robinson) Grippe both of Biwabik, Allan Grippe of Georgia, David (Kim) Grippe and Val Grippe both of Biwabik, and Duane (Bonnie) Grippe of North Dakota; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane; and his parents.
