Timothy Marc Plevell

Timothy Marc Plevell, 60, of Duluth died Friday, August 23, 2024 at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Tim was born on October 10, 1963 to Anthony and Sheila (Haberman) Plevell in Aurora. He graduated from the Aurora-Hoyt Lakes, Class of 1982. He furthered his education at St. Scholastica. He worked at FSI in the Twin Cities, while attending the Carlson School of Management at the U of M to earn a master degree. Tim moved back to Duluth and worked in accounting at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Tim enjoyed fishing, traveling and eating fish and pizza. He was an avid MN Vikings and MN Twins fan. 

Survivors include his mother, Sheila (Frank Biver) Plevell; sisters: Dr. Jill Plevell and Joy Packa; niece and nephews: Jessica Plevell-Packa, Matthew (Amber Peterson) Plevell, and Hunter Packa; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony and a nephew, Cole Plevell-Packa.

Tim’s family would like to the staff at Bayshore Health Center and the Essentia Health 10th Floor Critical Care for the wonderful care he received. A private family service was held with burial in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home of Aurora.
